Feed your creative appetite with five days at five different arts organizations:
In the Heart of the Beast Theatre, Highpoint Center for Printmaking, Textile
Center, Minnesota Center for Book Arts, and Northern Clay Center. Attend
a different art center each day and learn exciting art-making techniques
from professional artists.
Each weeklong session follows a different artistic theme. Create
a variety of art masterpieces including expressive puppets and masks; monoprints,
drypoints, and relief prints; unique dyes and weavings; books and handmade
paper; and wheel-thrown pottery and sculpture.

In addition to school
residencies, HOBT develops custom
residencies for communities. 
And, thanks to Arts Across
Minnesota funding provided by the Minnesota State Arts Board, HOBT will
be working with two Minnesota communities this summer, exploring and
celebrating water, our precious resource, through the arts. 
A dynamic exploration of a myriad of questions contained in a cup of water--one
of our most precious and necessary shared resources. This performance demonstrates
how much of the earth’s water is available for drinking, compares
tap and bottled water, and helps us understand ourselves as part of the
urban water cycle—bringing water issues vibrantly to life.
